About Us

Hudson Crossing Park is a volunteer-driven, community-based organization that is committed to stewarding historically and environmentally significant public land along the Hudson River by creating an educational and recreational destination.


The Dix Bridge is a perfect place for the whole family to enjoy cycling, walking, and enjoying unique views of the Hudson River.
Hudson Crossing Park offers special events and programs all year round, such as Banquet By the Bridge (pictured).
Approximately two miles of easily managed trails invite visitors of all ages.
The kayak launch is an easy load in and out of the Hudson, with lockable kayak storage for those who want to explore the park after their paddle.
With plentiful river and canal access, HCP is a great place to spend some time in the water.
School children from all over the region enjoy taking part in Hudson Crossing Park's educational programming.
HCP educators encourage hands-on curiosity and exploration.
The unique picnic pavilion is a great place to rest and enjoy a snack after exploring the island.
A kayaker enjoys the serene waters of the Hudson by the historic Dix Bridge.
HCP depends on volunteers to keep our park beautiful.
Those who walk the trail to the end of the island and reach "Eagle Point" are treated to stunning views of the Northumberland Dam.
